Khursheed Irani holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is also a clinical aromatherapist, qualified in Ayurveda Aromatherapy, an accredited Bowen practitioner and an International Bowen instructor.
Khursheed is a trainer and teacher for the Subtle Energies Academy and has translated Farida’s work for being commercially viable for the spa industry.
As the Global Director of Training and Development, she heads the training team of Subtle Energies trainers, as well as still being involved as a global trainer training teams of therapists in internationally renowned destination spas in the Ayurveda Aromatherapy techniques.
Dr. Tejal Shah has completed her Ayurvedic degrees from the renowned Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. She did her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS, 5 ½ years full time course) and Doctor of Medicine (MD, 3-year full time course, 2002; speciality Manasroga & Manovignan - mental disorders and mental health) from the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda which is one of India’s premier institute in Ayurveda and recently been declared as an institute of national importance dedicated to Ayurvedic studies and research by the Ministry of AYUSH, India. The institute was recently recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and designated the institute as Global Collaborative Centre for Traditional Medicines (Ayurveda). During her MD, Dr Shah won a travel fellowship from the World Health Organisation to present her MD thesis work on Ayurvedic management of dementia at the prestigious National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, India. Dr Shah worked as a tutor for the international students of BAMS course at Gujarat Ayurved University. In India, Dr Shah has worked as honorary house physician and clinical registrar at an Ayurvedic hospital during her MD course and has completed her internship for BAMS course.
Dr Shah completed her PhD in 2013 in Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences from the University of Western Australia (Perth, Western Australia) wherein her project was on a clinical trial investigating the effects of a lifestyle intervention comprising physical exercise and computerised brain training in Alzheimer’s dementia prevention. Dr Shah has shown that a combination of physical exercise and brain training could enhance cognition in healthy community dwelling older adults. Dr Shah also possess teaching experience at Macquarie University, NSW.
She holds a Diploma in Ayurveda Aromatherapy. Through her massage and aromatherapy business and her role as a yoga teacher, Hina combines her knowledge and experience to guide individuals towards physical and emotional well-being. She is also a member of the Subtle Energies global training team, focusing on therapists' well-being and providing nurturing care to clients.
Kala has a long career in health care as a medical biochemist, having worked in clinical biochemistry in hospitals internationally, including the UK, Middle East & Australia. She has been integral to the review of essential oil Chemistry subjects a valuable teacher of related subjects in the Diploma of Ayurveda Aromatherapy.
