Those wishing to enter the natural therapies industry, having no prior learning, Aromatherapists, Ayurveda Practitioners, Massage therapists, Reflexologists, Spa Therapists who wish to gain an in-depth and comprehensive basis for the treatments they deliver and anyone involved in tactile therapies who wish to do post-studies to complement their existing therapies.
Your CERT IV is very long compared to others
That’s correct, it is a big course. The Cert IV would be the equivalent of a Diploma, and the Diploma that of an Advanced Diploma. In Australia, there is no more Advanced Diploma accreditation and to make the study segmented with accredited it as a Cert IV and Diploma.
Do I have to do the Cert IV before doing the Diploma?
Yes, the Cert IV is a prerequisite to doing the Diploma subjects, essentially the Cert IV is your core and Diploma your advanced learning.
Is this Cert IV course officially accredited and recognized?
Yes, those who complete the course will receive a Certificate IV in Ayurveda Aromatherapy Treatments which is officially recognized by the National Qualifications Framework.
I have studied Ayurveda in the past what am I exempt from?
It would depend on your prior learning but e.g. Advanced Diploma Students of Ayurveda would be required to do most modules in Ayurveda Aromatherapy.
If I do not live in Sydney, can I do these courses?
Yes, you can take part in all the Short courses, and the theory of the Cert IV and Diploma are available for students to access online and via distance. In order to complete the Cert IV practicals and clinic you will be required to travel to Sydney in 2024. We do plan to run practicals in other cities as the course grows and demand is there. Stay tuned.
